About the Internship : We are looking for a passionate QA Automation Intern who is eager to learn modern test automation practices and contribute to building high-quality software products. You will work closely with experienced QA Engineers and Software Developers to automate web application testing using Playwright and TypeScript.
This internship is ideal for students or recent graduates who have a strong foundation in programming and an interest in Software Testing and Test Automation.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Playwright and TypeScript.
- Execute functional, regression, and end-to-end test cases.
- Identify, document, and track software defects.
- Work closely with developers to understand product functionality and resolve issues.
- Participate in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and QA discussions.
- Perform API testing using tools like Postman (preferred).
- Contribute to improving the automation framework and testing processes.
- Learn and apply software testing best practices.
Desired Personal Attributes:
- Knowledge of:
- TypeScript
- Playwright (preferred) or any UI automation framework
- HTML & CSS
- Software Testing concepts
- Git/GitHub
- Knowledge of Node.js.
